You are cordially invited to an Art Interaction Design Workshop led by Taishi Kamiya on 10.10.2017 (Tuesday) at 6 pm in Supermarkt Berlin.
Please register via Meetup event.
During the workshop, we would like to concentrate on an ideation process of a product or a service using artistic strategies and creative approach as an incentive leading to innovation. Entrepreneurs, designers, artists, engineers, and marketers who are interested in new methods are welcome to participate.
Traditionally, engineering and design are the most important factors in the development of products and services. Until now, art has been relegated to a level with least presence in this process, that despite being a discipline that can enrich the results or even become essential for the business development. Nowadays we can see the growing interest in merging these disciplines (e.g. MIT Lan, Ars Electronica).
The process of Art Interaction Design concentrates on innovation and seeks to provide a path to establish a link between artistic strategies and design thinking. The objective is to create an interface between art and business focusing on the effectiveness of art in business innovation.
In this workshop, we will attempt to integrate the viewpoint of art production into the design process in order to pose questions and solve problems. We will experience simple ideation session as a group work using a framework which was established based on lessons learned from art creation.
Duration: 2-3 hours Participants: maximum 12 Costs: Free of charge
The workshop is lead by Taishi Kamiya, a student at Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design (CIID) who brings to the table 11 years of experience as an assistant manager in a New Business Development Department of Yamaha Corporation, Tokyo.
